How to find events in Girona

The town council (ajuntament) has a webpage for events called the Agenda.

The webpage has several problems:

• The webpage only lists events organised by official organisations. These are events that typically happen in libraries, civic centres, public squares, and other public places. Events organised by more informal groups (Girona Buddies, Girona Social Meetup, Girona International, Girona Conecta) are generally refused, so you have to look elsewhere for these events.
• Every day has a tonne of events, some big and some small, and there is no way to filter out the small ones. So you end up scrolling through dozens of uninteresting events to try to find one that might be interesting. Children's bookmark exhibition, anyone?

https://www.meetup.com/ has events happening in Girona. They are mainly posted by three social groups: Girona Buddies, Girona Social Meetup, and Girona Conecta.

Poster columns are scattered around the city. They are covered in layers of announcements for concerts and festivals. The new posters simply get put on top of the old posters, so layers of posters build up over time, until the posters bulge out like the bellies of pregnant women.
