Approximately 40,000 French people live in the comarca of Girona and around 2,000–3,000 French people live in Girona city.[1]
Girona's French consulate[edit]
Girona has a French consulate. They help French citizens with passport issues, administrative procedures (tràmits), documents, and procedures related to French citizens who died in Spain.[1] It is run by a Venezuelan man François-Xavier Pujol de Salas, but he prefers to be called Xavier, not François-Xavier.[1]
The space is 240 m².[1] There are two offices, a large conference room, a small meeting room, a small kitchen, and a bathroom.
It's open every weekday. On Wednesdays, it opens 2–7 PM.[1]

- Asociacion Girouette is an association for French people in the Girona province. United Kingdom[edit]
- The United Kingdom used to have an honorary consul in Girona, Andrew Dicken, who is also the owner of the language school Up Idiomes.[4][1] After Brexit, the position was discontinued, and the United Kingdom no longer has a consul in Girona.[1]
