Girona has a radio station called Girona FM at 92.7 FM. We doubt anyone listens to it. Girona FM shows include:
- L’Alternativa ("The Alternative"), Girona’s only English-speaking radio show. Presented by Ryan Martin (from New Zealand) and co-hosted by Abby Jones (from England). It’s a fortnightly English-speaking radio show about Girona, culture, books, and music. The name L’Alternativa comes from the alternative rock music that Ryan plays on the show. The show began in 2024[1] when Ryan presented the idea of an English-speaking radio show to Girona FM.[2] Ryan and Abby record on Wednesdays, and the show is aired on the following Friday. You can find previous episodes at https://www.gironafm.cat/gironafm/programs/lalternativa. Guests are either notable people who live in Girona, or musicians Ryan met in McKiernans. - Nafent is a bilingual cycling magazine (Catalan and English) that began in January 2022. La Marató (often called La Marató de TV3 or La Marató de 3Cat) is one of Catalonia’s biggest annual charity events. It is a massive televised fundraising event that lasts all day, usually in mid-December. It combines live TV broadcasts, music, perfoamnces, donation campaigns across Catalonia, and thousands of local activities (runs, concerts, quines, community events) to raise money for medical research on one specific disease each year. Since 1992, La Marató has raised hundreds of millions of euros, funding major research projects in hospitals and universities across Catalonia.

- La Vanguardia is one of Spain's biggest newspapers. Its headquarters are in Barcelona. It is printed in Spanish and Catalan. It's Catalonia's leading newspaper.
- El Periódico is another major Spanish newspaper. It has different versions for different areas of Spain: El Periodico de Catalunya, El Periodico de Aragón, El Periódico Extremadura, and El Periódico Mediterraneo.
