Playgrounds in Girona
Girona has many small playgrounds (search for ‘playground’ or ‘parc infantil’ in Google Maps). They are pretty basic and designed only for small children.
Apparently Girona has 111 playgrounds???[1]
Avoid playgrounds on the hottest days in summer, as the metal slides get very hot and can burn your skin.
Parc Infantil de Plaça Josep Pla[edit]
Parc Infantil de Plaça Josep Pla is a playground in a public square called Plaça Josep Pla. There are no roads or cars nearby, making it safe for children to play. The playground was renovated in 2022 at a cost of €61,281, so the equipment is all relatively new.[1] The council claim it is Girona's first fully accessible playground.[1] It has accessible equipment for disabled children, including adapted swings and inclusive spring riders.[1] There is no shade, so avoid it on the hottest summer days.
Plaça Josep Pallach I Carola[edit]

Carrer Francesc Ciurana[edit]
A playground opposite Flying Tiger Copenhagen. A wooden fence surrounds it to prevent kids from running into the road. The playground has a climbing frame and swings. The playground is covered in little pebbles which are fun for kids to dig in, so we recommend bringing a bucket and a spade.
This playground doesn't appear in Google for some reason.
Parc Infantil del Parc del Vista Alegre[edit]
Parc del Vista Alegre is a relatively big park with a pretty good children's playground in the middle. The playground includes zip line, tiny trampolines, and climbing frame.
Parc Infantil Jardí de la Infància[edit]
