Taxis in Girona
The main taxi company is GiTaxi, and if you call 972 22 23 23 or 972 203 377, they will pick you up from anywhere in Girona. There is no Uber in Girona due to the strong influence of the local taxi association.[1]

GiTaxi is the main taxi company in Girona. Their phone numbers are 972 22 23 23 and 972 203 377. You can call for a taxi, and they will send one to your address. They speak Catalan, Spanish, and English. You can also pre-book a taxi with them.
Their website promises they can pick you up from any urban area in Girona in less than 10 minutes.
They have around 70 vehicles.[2]
They also have an app called the GiTaxi App available on Google Play and in the Apple App Store, but it doesn't work most of the time, so you have to call them instead.[3]

Getting a taxi from Girona airport[edit]

A taxi from Girona airport to Girona is €25–30. The taxi rank is just outside the arrivals terminal. Often, there'll be a queue. Tip: Ask people in the queue if they're also going to Girona and if they want to share a taxi with you. That way you can split the taxi cost with other people.
