• Dones Valentes is a WhatsApp community for women, mainly single Catalan women between the ages of 35 and 70. It started in 2025 in Olot. It has since spread to other places, including Girona. Instagram: @donesvalentesgirones
• Girona Women is a women's only subgroup in Girona Buddies. It was created on 24 October 2025 and currently has 161 members.

• Associació Gironina d’Empresàries (AGE) (Girona Association of Businesswomen) is an organization that supports women entrepreneurs and executives in the Girona region. See Starting a business.

Events

• La Cursa de la Dona (Women's Race) is an annual 5 km event in Girona. It is the most popular race in the province, with more than 7,000 participants in some editions. See Running_events_in_Girona.
• Jornada de l'Esport Femení (Women’s Sports Day) is an annual event in Girona to promote women in sport, with activities and demonstrations.
